WUWT: What's Up With That?

One of my best friends is a star teacher at a public school in a critical needs district. The principal of this teacher's school is blocking the teacher from doing things the teacher has requested, all for benefit of the students. The principal keeps finding other people to fill these roles. What's up with a leader blocking a competent, passionate worker's way to blossoming as a teacher? This is really sad to me.
